This Privacy Policy describes how KwikQuery LLC (“KwikQuery,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information submitted through kwikquery.com (the “Site”) and the TabbyDB product. By using the Site or downloading TabbyDB, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you request a demo, download the TabbyDB trial, or sign up for product updates, we collect the information you submit: name, work email, company name, and the message text where applicable.
Information collected automatically. Our Site may collect basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited. This information is used in aggregate to understand how the Site is used and to improve it.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
2. How we use information
- To respond to demo and contact requests.
- To deliver the TabbyDB trial and related communications.
- To send product updates, release notes, and security advisories you opt into.
- To analyze Site usage and improve our content and product.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing.
3. Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to operate the Site and product. These providers process information on our behalf under contractual obligations:
- Supabase — database hosting for demo requests, downloads, and email signups.
- Hosting and CDN providers — to serve the Site and TabbyDB binaries.
4. Data retention
We retain contact and lead information for as long as needed to operate our business and respond to inquiries, typically up to 36 months from last interaction. We retain download records for product analytics for up to 36 months. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 6).
5. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of it; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email privacy@kwikquery.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
7. International transfers
KwikQuery is based in the United States and our service providers may be located in the United States or other jurisdictions. By submitting information through the Site, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.
8. Cookies
We use a minimal number of cookies, primarily for theme preference and basic analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser; some Site features may not function correctly without them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the Site.
